This is one of the many reasons why I love them. They are self-aware and they are aware of the other’s flaws. They know that they’re not good people. But they still love each other and want each other despite not being good or good enough.
Also, working with older clips, and YT clips at that, is hell.
Winners of the most pathetic contest. Llanview’s losers. Like Asa called them, “soulmates from hell.” They wanted to torch the whole town down for hating them, and I found that beautiful in its own way.
GUH! Reblogging for *reasons*!!!!!!!!!
Jack: Stop talking about Victor, I love him. And I know you don’t want me to say that, but it’s true, I love him. And now he’s gone, and nothing I do or say will bring him back, so can you just leave me alone?

Kassie tweets: #oltl I’m with the Manning men!
Have a drink with me…
ALL THE FEELINGS! I loved this, because it reminded me of the 90s with their banter. He’d go all over town looking for her so he could bitch about other people and she’d feign being annoyed while secretly loving every second of it. And then she’d call him on his shit, but when something hurt him, she showed obvious concern and let him know it.
UNLIKE the 90s, Todd’s got her number now, and he knows that she’s close as HELL to caving cause she loves the hell out of his crazy ass! I caved when he pulled her into a bump ‘N’ grind against that bar, so I *KNOW* she’s ready to burst!!!!
I loved Todd flirting (THIS IS HOW TODD FLIRTS, PEOPLE! TAKE NOTE), I loved him sharing his drink from his glass with her, and the way he went about it and looked and spoke to her. I loved her taking the drink as he left (so intimate). I loved her taking him by the hand to get him out (any excuse to touch him, Blair, we know you!!). I also love that Blair isn’t just “Todd’s woman” or “prize to be won” anymore. She’s her own fierce, badass character. So very reminiscent of the 90s and who she is!!!
And I loved the way they were checking each other out so much, especially as Todd was leaving.
Good gawd, HAVE SEX ALREADY!
*ahem*
Blair: You don’t get it, you just don’t understand.
Todd: No I don’t, I don’t understand. Tell me, please.
Blair: Your son, is you!
Todd: It was the truth, I said I love you.
Blair: And I believed you. What a fool!
Todd: You’re not a fool.
Blair: No, no, no more Todd Manning pity parties here. There’s nothing you have up your sleeve that’s ever going to work for me again.
Blair: You’re useless as a husband and a lover, and even more pathetic as a father. Look at that, Todd Manning is speechless.
Todd: There’s nothing to say if it’s true.
He just… wants to take her, just take her and make her his all over again. and she wants to take him and reclaim what’s rightfully hers, and then kill him. LOL!!!!!!!!!!! I love how she’s trying to resist temptation, but you can see her failing. And Todd was SOL the moment he walked in the club and saw her.
OLTL is BACK and Todd and Blair are doing that familiar dance that only they can do.
